Acteur, Lou Castel a tourné plus de 100 films avec Bellocchio, Fassbinder, Wenders, Garrel ou Morder.
Réalisateur il affirme une préférence marquée pour un cinéma sans compromis porté par la révolte, l’humour et l’expérimentation. Le Tube parcellise l’écran en seize films qui sont autant de points de vue autour de la découverte, (l’invention archéologique ?) d’un tuyau d’aération. Et pourtant en 2005 You Tube n’en était qu’à ses débuts.

As a filmmaker, he has a distinct preference for an uncompromising approach to cinema, borne by revolt, humour and experiment. In Le Tube the screen is subdivided to show 16 films and as many points of view on the discovery (the archaeological invention?) of a ventilation pipe... In 2005 You Tube was barely starting out...
