Cambride Bay est une ville canadienne où vit une
communauté Inuit. Passée récemment du nomadisme à la sédentarisation suite à l'implantation
de la Hudson Bay Company, qui a apporté avec elle les forces de l'ordre et
les représentants religieux, cette population a subi de profondes mutations.
La construction du film, son rythme, sa lumière donnent à voir et à vivre la
fragilité de cette communauté. |

Cambridge Bay is a Canadian town inhabited by an
Inuit community. They have recently gone from being nomads to a leading a
settled existence, following the arrival of the Hudson Bay Company, together
with the forces of law and order and religious representatives. The community
has thus experienced profound changes in its way of life. The fragility of
their situation is expressed in the structure, the rhythm and the light of Nawna. |
