Une
reconstitution filmée de séquences de concertations publiques, tournée
en novembre 2010, avec une cinquantaine de comédiens amateurs.
Librement inspirée de la synthèse de réunions publiques ayant précédé
la construction du centre commercial « Carré de Soie ».
Un projet
de «renouvellement urbain » s’annonce. « Puissance Publique » et «
Puissance Privée », accompagnées d’une «spécialiste » et d’un «
facilitateur » présentent leur stratégie pour faire revivre le quartier
à des habitants dubitatifs. Les uns et les autres confrontent leurs
arguments.
An urban regeneration project is in the offing. “Public Authority”,
“Private Authority”, a “specialist” and a “facilitator” present their
strategy for the revival of an area to its dubious inhabitants. Each
puts forward their arguments. The film is a re-enactment of extracts
from public debates held prior to the construction of a shopping centre
in the suburbs of Lyon, with the collaboration of fifty amateur actors.
