large des côtes ouest de l'Irlande, trois rochers battus par les
tempêtes... Les îles d'Aran... Les traces, la mer, le vent… Un carnet
de voyage en Super 8 noir et blanc, qui nous entraîne à la rencontre de
Martin O'Concannon et dessine, entre songe et réalité, les contours
singuliers d'une île devenue célèbre depuis le film tourné par Robert
Flaherty en 1932, L'homme d'Aran.
A twofold portrait : of a man and of an island.
Off the West coast of Ireland, three rocks beaten by storms... the Aran
islands, the marks, the sea, the wind... A travel journal in black and
white Super 8 which introduces us to Martin O'Concannon and gives the
outline, between dream and reality, of the singular contours of an
island renowned since Robert Flaherty's film of 1932, The Man of Aran.
